White Water Kayaking Instruction

White Water Kayaking in Vermont

$300 per person, 2 people required. This includes the two nights of camping.  It also includes two breakfasts two lunches and one dinner.

$450 per person 2 people required. This includes the two nights stay in an INN.  It also includes two breakfasts two lunches and one dinner.

You will arrive on Friday evening we will go over all of the basic parts of a kayak and all the safety gear you will be using. 

 

Saturday: AM: You will go to a local lake and learn how to use the kayaks, wet exits and start to learn different maneuvers. (LUNCH) After lunch you will practice some more rolling skills and more about white water.  Back to lodging/camp.  Watch safety and instructional videos for white water kayaking. 

 

Sunday: AM: You will travel to a class 2 river where you will learn how to maneuver your kayak through waves and around rocks on a small section of that river.  You will practice wet exits in rapids to get the feel for it.  In the afternoon you will have the option of running the class 2 river or spending more time on skill builder activity's.  We will go back to lodging/camp and get ready for your travel home.
