Customized Guided Hiking Vacations

Guided Vermont Inn to Inn Hiking Vacation

  3 to 5 Nights

We will custom plan guided hikes and walks for your group, whether for two or two dozen.  You choose dates, the length of your trip and the amount of hiking or walking you want to do.  Add tours of Vermont’s quaint villages, museums or other recreation.  We'll suggest specific itineraries and places to stay, and together we'll come up with a great vacation.  It's a perfect getaway for friends, families, clubs or reunions.  Advance planning is essential, especially for larger groups.  Prices will vary, based on the season and your accommodations, but our group tour prices will give you a rough starting point.  Ski and snowshoe trips are available in the winter months.

Our foliage season guided tours are perfect for those who prefer the comfort and camaraderie of a group.  Our guides are experienced group leaders and local naturalists; each has extensive knowledge and a sense of humor that bring an added dimension to your vacation.  Small groups, never larger than ten, allow each trip to be tailored to the desires and abilities of the group.

All package prices are per person double occupancy (ppdo).

Cost includes all meals, lodging, car shuttles, taxes, and gratuities.

The Robert Frost Country Hiking Vacation

The heart of the Green Mountains is the country that inspired much of Robert Frost’s poetry. Magnificent views, quiet lanes, stone walls and waterfalls abound on daily hikes of five to eight miles. Whether meandering through meadows at the Robert Frost Trail or climbing to spectacular vistas atop Mount Abraham, Snake Mountain and Mount Moosalamoo, you'll understand the inspiration.  Other highlights include Rattlesnake Point, Silver Lake, and the Cliffs of Mount Horrid. Accommodations are at Churchill House Inn, Crisanver House, and Mountain View Inn.

The Historic Champlain Walking Vacation

The Champlain
Valley is rich in Revolutionary history, and this trip allows you to step back a few hundred years and explore the places that played pivotal roles in our nation’s journey to independence.  We start with a hike to Snake Mountain for a panoramic view of the area, then on successive days visit Fort Ticonderoga, Mount Independence, the Hubbardton Battlefield, Chimney Point, Crown Point and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.  Each day will offer hiking and history, led by our guide who is knowledgeable about both.  Stay at Shoreham Inn, Marble West Inn, and Strong House Inn.
