2 Day and Nights

Rock climbing instruction for beginners to intermediate adventure seekers.  We do top rope climbing, where a rope is anchored at the top of the cliff.  You will learn how to climb and how to rappel on the cliff.  We can set up on a cliff with an easy hike to the cliff or a little harder hike.

Arrive on Friday evening, settle in, and learn about some of the gear and skills you will be using over the weekend.

Saturday morning: Leave early to travel to a cliff where you will start to learn the basics of climbing and rappelling (LUNCH). Resume learning to climb.  Learn basic knots and different ways to get up the cliff. Pack up and go back to lodging/camp.  Optional night hike available.  Go out and enjoy nature at night.

Sunday morning:  Travel to cliff area and learn more about how to set up for as well as start a climb.  We try to kick it up with higher rappels and longer climbing routes (LUNCH).  Try your hand at beginner lead climbing for the afternoon, learn safe placement of gear and top belaying.  Go back to camp/lodge and get ready to go home.
