VERMONT INN TO INN BIKING TOURS

* Trips begin and end at the same point. You may leave your car at the first inn.

* State-of-the-art hybrid and road bikes are available for rental for $25 per day. Helmets are included.

Along the way you’ll explore Vermont’s charming villages, its picture-postcard farms, museums and spectacular scenery and perhaps enjoy a refreshing swim in the many lakes and swimming holes along the route.  Nights may be spent at the Swift House Inn, Inn at Baldwin Creek, Middlebury Inn, Strong House Inn, Cornwall Orchards, Shoreham Inn, Churchill House Inn, Lilac Inn, Marble West Inn, Crisanver House, Fox Creek Inn, Inn at Lovers Lane, Gazebo Inn, or the Inn on Park Street. The actual inns in your itinerary will depend on the distance you wish to ride each day, the starting date, and the availability at the inns.

The Champlain Valley provides some of the best cycling in Vermont. Our self-guided tours are designed for those who want to strike out on their own without the constraints of a group tour.  Your vacation will provide 3 to 10 days of leisurely biking along paved back roads on routes of 20 to 40 miles (or more, if you prefer). Upon your arrival, you’ll receive a personal review of your trip.  You will also receive maps and detailed written directions. You’ll abandon your car at the first inn and pedal your way to each of the other inns, where you’ll find your luggage and a relaxing evening waiting for you.

Explore the charming villages of
Brandon, Middlebury, Vergennes, Fair Haven, Middletown Springs, Dorset, Manchester, Wallingford, Rutland, and Proctor. Enjoy a
refreshing swim in the many lakes and swimming holes along the route.

Visit museums and exhibits which present Vermont's interesting history. And, enjoy the magnificent scenery along the way. 

COST: Package prices vary depending on the inn, season, and accommodation. Rates are normally $140-$195 per person/double occupancy, per night.
